ANNOUNCING the (almost) ARRIVAL of.....

Ziggy!!

We get Ziggy in just about 2 weeks. He is in the process of being weaned. You can see him in this picture on the right. We named him after one of our favorite Reggae artists, Ziggy Marley, (Bob Marley's son) who we listen to alot and also Matt thinks he has kind of a rasta look with his hair) We can't wait to meet him!!

Now, since no one commented after I mentioned that we were getting a dog....you ALL have to comment now on how cute he is. Go on, get to commenting!

that is so fun and I am a wee bit jealous. We had a fabulous dog when we were first married and I always wish he was still alive so that the girls could grow up with a dog around. I'm sure he'll be a big blessing to your family! And he is super cute! Congratulations!

With an adorable "Friend" like that, how could you ever be in a "Melancholy Mood"? I know it will be tough at first to have a toddler AND a baby AND train a pup, but you'll get "Into the Groove" in no time! You made a wise choice - when you were "Looking" to get a pet, you could have chosen a "Black Cat" instead, which would not have given you "A Lifetime" of love and loyalty like a dog. Yeah, I know that's a very anti-cat statement, but hey, I've gotta be "True to Myself" and this gal is a dog person through and through (with the exception, of course, of Mocha)! Can't wait to meet Ziggy!

Laurie, you crack me up with your blogs! I think you guys are brave to get a dog b/f another baby but we love our dog (english bully) and so having another addition to the family is fun. I'm looking forward to seeing how Ziggy likes Mocha. I'm not sure if Rastafarians are coffee-drinkers. :)

Cute, yes, cute. But then so are baby tigers. Cute is not the issue. Growing up to be large and hungry tiger (or in your case, dog) is the issue.

Better you than me.

I, too, think you're brave to take on a puppy right before a baby! He certainly is cute, though, and I love the name!

(Lis - me thinks someone has been Lucky-scarred forever ;-)
